1963 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray
With a current resale value of over $80,000, the 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray is a piece of automotive history. Conceived by Zora Arkus-Duntov and Bill Mitchell, it was the final product of more than half a decade’s worth of research. It was a restyling of the C1, featuring four versions of the V8 engine with 327-cubic-inch displacement space. The four options included 250, 300, 340, and 360 horsepower with varying compression ratios, exhaust systems, and speed transmissions. The Chevy Corvette is not only powerful but also incredibly beautiful.
1964 Ford Mustang
In 1964, Ford introduced a Ford Mustang half-year model. It quickly gained favor with the public upon its release, becoming a successful addition to the Ford line by the end of the year. The Firebird comes with 220 horsepower for the top model, while the base model is powered by a 6.6-liter V8 engine, pumping out 180 horsepower. It may not have high horsepower, but its production makes it stand out. A ’78 Firebird Trans Am comes with a price tag of between $20,000 and $30,000, making it one of the more affordable vintage models.
2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat
The 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is nothing to sneeze at when it comes to power. The Dodge model makes its presence known by offering 707 horsepower, 650 lb-ft of torque, a supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi Hellcat V8 engine, and a choice between a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission. The base price for a Hellcat is $60,990.
